My friends are really into costume parties but some, like my friend John, take it up a notch. His love of horror films is expressed by his Capt. Spaulding homemade costume (from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses & Devil's Rejects). It's so creepy!

Without reading your description I would say he looks like the bloody puppet master from Pinocchio and the red background just multiply the feeling :) Very nice.

Thanks Mr. Slava! I have to admit, I wasn't familiar with the character either, but when I saw clips from the movies I appreciated how great the details of the costume were. I was really happy I could capture the mood lighting from the Halloween party using the laptop John was DJing from as the front light source.
