Warehouse Stockpiles is the second of three photo contests sponsored by a software company that seeks images for their new website. Much like A Manufacturing Process this match follows a new style reward structure whereby the winning image is licensed alongside three other images selected, by the sponsor, from anywhere in the index. Unlike the first contest, which requested images of machines making things indoors (and only had 15 submissions), this challenge is easier and will hopefully be much busier.

Warehouse Stockpiles hopes to see stacks of surplus goods waiting to be processed into merchandise, and piles and pallets full of finished products awaiting shipment. A large manufacturing software company seeks specific images to accompany their white papers / pages on their website in which they show thought leadership specifically Production Planning and Inventory Management Finding warehouse stockpiles is easy, taking interesting pictures is more difficult. This challenge seeks both interior and exterior photography, and warehouses are much easier to access and photograph than are factory floors. 

The prize is $250 cash in exchange for the rights to use your photo (non exclusive for 3 years). It's a win / win scenario for photographers and sponsors; the sponsor rewards prize winning photographers, and gets to use their photos. The winning photographer will have just licensed photos to a highly respectable multinational software company and will perhaps see them displayed on their website. *Non exclusive license for 3 yrs. RULES / TIMELINE The contest works like any other Lenzr match--it's a sixty day challenge. Upload your pictures to the index now, and right up until November 25th, 2011. It's recommended you promote your pictures when voting begins Nov 15, 2011 to get into the Top Ten grouping. Judges pick from the Top Ten images that are locked down on the 25th of November at 12:01 am when voting ends - the winner is announced Dec 1st, 2011. Must be 13 yrs of age or older to enter.
