Does your camera have a proper lens upon which to mount filters? If it does, then you should consider buying and experimenting with a polarizing filter. The attachment can help create a wonderful camera effect; polarizing sunlight is the subject of this advanced photo contest. Photo shopping after affects are not encouraged, and Judges will discount any really obviously photo shopped images in the Top Ten.
Professional photographers know that polarising filters change the way that your camera sees sunlight. It also changes exposure readings so watch out. The filters are most dramatic when lensing exteriors, shooting landscapes with water, sky – the filter improves colours by cutting reflections and minimizing glare. Show us your work using this in-camera effect only.
