Topiary gardens, rocks and beautiful flowering plants are some of the things we expect to see filling the frame in each picture uploaded to this end-of-summer Lenzr photo contest. Landscaping and Lawn Care celebrates beautiful properties!

Members, you’ve had all July and August to get your outdoor properties in shape and make beautiful hedges trelis and arbours. Gazebos covered in vines, wooden arches and decks with bridges over stony creeks, fish ponds, flagstone paths around water fountains ringed with ceramic fairies would be welcomed in this landscaping photo competition. We want to see a lush green manifestation of a magnificent design that’s been expertly photographed to showcase lots of little details.

This contest is for landscape photographers, and so we expect wide angles with ample sky and shafts of sunlight. Submit your shots of professionally manicured golf courses, or just some great front yards you can see from the road. Let’s look at lush healthy green lawns in the dewy September morning light or through the haze of afternoon sprinklers, focus on flowering shrubs and high class horticulture at the margins of grassy meadows.   No people are necessary to make a great pictures here, just gorgeous green luscious lawns.

Show us great yard work, and beautiful backyards and gardens around swimming pools, statues and stately structures and you could win $250 worth of garden tools courtesy of an eco friendly property maintenance company that uses solar powered trailers to recharge battery operated equipment.

The prize is $250 worth of battery operated landscaping tools, served up in gift certificates from your nearest outdoor garden supply store. Selected by Judges from the Top Ten images, the member that uploaded the winning photo will collect a reward wthat's designed to help maintain their outdoor property, regardless of whether or not their own backyard was the subject of the award winning photo. This is a great prize for green thumbs.
