Homemade Halloween Costumes
Homemade Halloween Costumes
Started on: October 1st, 2011 Ended on: December 1st, 2011
Homemade Halloween Costumes is a timely challenge designed to document the physical imaginations of Lenzr members who make their own creations to go door-to-door and collect candy with kids, or to hit the holiday parties on October 31st.
It’s a big night, and taking the time to make a great costume can actually improve your reputation in the neighbourhood. Halloween is a happy affair that builds and fosters a strong sense of community with sweet candy and scary costumes, and hopefully that’s exactly what will happen here on Lenzr too. Read more on Lenzr blog.
Halloween is now the fourth largest holiday in North America in terms of retail sales, but we don’t need to buy anything because, being truly creative, we can manufacture our own magnificent outfits from scratch. Let’s see paper bag princesses, one eyed pirates and wand-wielding Harry Potters. Is that a Headless Horseman or a hippopotamus? Show us Styrofoam golems and cardboard robots, kitty cats and crafty creatures from the Black Lagoon. Show us your homemade Halloween costumes.
The prize is $250 worth of cash or candy that comes courtesy of Jib Strategic Social Media Contests page where you can see how this boutique web marketing company is getting really creative with online sharing tools and contest media storytelling.
SPONSOR PICKS – The sponsor is making an eBook on the subject and will license pictures from throughout the gallery at a rate of $50 each.
RULES / TIMELINE The contest works like any other Lenzr match - it's a sixty day challenge. Upload your pictures to the index now, and right up until November 25th, 2011. It's recommended that you promote your pictures when voting begins Nov 15, 2011 to get into the Top Ten grouping.
