PRIZE

What critters live in your backyard? Beyond the birds and the bees, and the squirrels in the trees, residents of Canada can find a lot of wild creatures making themselves right at home in their own backyards. Some are odious pests, but most are precious specimens, citizens of nature that grace humans with their colourful songs and behaviour. People generally fetch their cameras when they see these animals close to the house – now let's upload those pictures to Lenzr.

Perhaps white tail deer frequently visit your abode? Or maybe wild geese? Or perhaps there are wood ducks on your pond, or brown rabbits in your garden? Or groundhogs digging holes and eating your lawn?  Here in Canada, the black bear is probably the biggest animal you'll ever find in your backyard, unless you live in northern Canada, in which case you might discover a moose eating your flowers, or a polar bear going through your garbage!

Wherever you live in this great nation, take pictures of the wildlife that abounds in your backyard and submit those shots to Lenzr.  Voting begins
November 20th and the most popular photo wins an iPad when the contest ends on December 1st 2010.

The photo contest is sponsored by metal roofing w
hich is a leading distributor of metal roofing products and technology. They'd like to remind Lenzr members and guests that metal roofs are impervious to animal attacks, and don't grow moldy in wet climates or blow away in anything short of a hurricane. Metal roofs keep properties safe from backyard critters.

The contest is open to all residents of Canada, age 13 years and older. Contest not valid in Quebec
